Blushing Help – What Not To Do

If you want to quit blushing, it is almost as important to know what not to do as it is to know what to do.  There are many outside influences than can make blushing happen more frequently.  Avoiding these influences can be a great cure for blushing.  Blushing help can happen if you learn to avoid the following items.

The most important thing not to do is eat spicy foods.  Spicy foods will cause the face to turn red.  If you already have issues with blushing, help will not come with spicy foods.  Hot sauce and spicy salsas should be saved for times when a red face will not be an issue for you.  While these types of foods are popular and many people enjoy them, they will not be good for you if you have a blushing or red face problem.  You will want to stick to more simple dishes that do not contain many seasonings.

Another blushing help tip for what to avoid is not to drink caffeine.  Caffeine dehydrates the body which makes the face turn red faster.  The body needs to maintain hydration and a red face can be a symptom of dehydration.  If you feel you are drinking too much coffee or caffeinated sodas, you may want to switch to water.

You can have your one cup of coffee to wake you up, but then drink water for the rest of the day in order to get your body the hydration it needs.  While this is not the only help for blushing, it is a major preventative measure.

The final blushing help tip is to quit smoking if you are a smoker.  Everyone knows that smoking is bad for the lungs, but not many know that the smoke that hovers around your face can cause dehydration to this area.

This will also have the effect of a red face when you do not really want one.  By avoiding cigarette smoke you will keep your skin more hydrated.  If you truly must smoke, then using extra moisturizer may help the situation.
